EW NO, after researching (thank g** i didn't waste my time reading 126 chapters) reasons i absolutely hate this manhwa (correct me if im wrong)

1.Lazy romance choices the story kills or erases a genuinely good past-life partner and replaces them with manufactured “drama” (multiple new love interests) instead of earning emotional payoff.

2.Feels like fanservice over story romantic polygons and contrived love triangles are used to create tension instead of meaningful character development.

Overall it's pretty mid, but it's trash, if it wasn't the fact that she fuc**** broke off her connection to her past life's lover and fuc**** had 2 different male love interest to begin with. I hate women/men who aren't loyal to their lovers... Not to mention her reasons aren't even reasonable lmfao...

This story is interesting! like, really really interesting!

Mc, name Hajun, is a police guy. Wow. He becomes a detective, just like his father. (i think his group only primarily does serial killer cases, but i'm not sure.) He becomes a detective to figure out the culprit of who killed his parents.

On a case, they start struggling. "its difficult, because we can't think like a serial killer.", one of hajun's superiors said.

Hajun finds a book from his father, called "the mind of serial killers", which his father always forbade him from opening, back when he was younger.
Inside, he gets transported into basically this strange, imaginative interrogation room. across from him sits very horrible, notorious, serial killer(s).
Just like the name suggests, it's 'the mind of serial killers', you get to ask them how and why the serial killers would do this, so and so. In exchange for something (its usually food tho)

At first i thought Hajun relied way too much on the book, but then he suddenly just stopped relying on it...for so long... I started to miss the book.... and then ITS BACK! Finally! For Hajun's parent's muder case, the book is back!
So you don't have to worry about Hajun being incompetent. at first i was thinking "are you serious? Even a dog couldve figured that out.", but Hajun got smarter without relying on the book, its great!!!

On a sidenote, its a plus for me but i'm not sure if it is for other people, THERES NO ROMANCE!!!
Its so hard to find policeforce work stories without slight romance in them. Im for real, name one. (brutal: confessions from a homicide investigator don't count..)
The story is solely focused on the detective work, no subplot bs! I really like this story, so check it out if it sounds like it might be your thing! The updates are slow rn because a certain website is paywalling it.. But i still can't recommend it enough!

- detective
- no romance
- interesting plot
- no subplot, solely focused on detective work

its got charm, but i just dont see how this will really amount to much... the mc doesnt want or need to gain anything more after 10 chapters so... if he does get some sort of willpower to do something later on, someone prove me wrong

Writing this review as of chapter 20. I've never read a manhwa where the top pretends to be the bride. Bottom is so cute and oblivious and top doesn't even realize he in love lol. Absolutely worth itttttt.

Story Ruined By MC

NOTE!
- This is just MY opinion
- I understand perfectly fine why he acts like he does...I just don't like him
- You can like him while I don't, still don't and you won't convince me no matter what.

I disliked the MC way too much to actually enjoy the story. Regardless of his reasoning or "being able to backup his strength" he's a 'Rear Opening' even to those who've been nothing but accommodating to him (such as the one assistant girl who basically became like a footstool to him) and that's not even including the fact that so many people die in his old world most likely because of his weird honor bs. He's not even funny or charismatic (TO ME) but everyone accepts him acting like a pompous lightsaber because "he's so strong!" Idk how Earthly behavior = not being arrogant and rude at all times, but honestly he acts just like some of the ANTAGONIST in other stories I've read.

The artstyle is unique and i like how they don't have specific dressing system or something it's a quite a mix of everything which is refreshing to the eyes and the story is quite interesting too
