This story is tragic, messy, raw and real. Relationships are hard, feelings don't just disappear, neither do memories. Poverty is hard, and people change as they grow older, facts of life - even the best relationship strained by money and traumacan sour. It's intriguing and fresh, and even the villain- he's garbage but he's still human, he's complex. He wasn't always evil. Our ML is also shades of grey. He isn't a green flag, we don't know anything about him, just that he's desperately obsessed with our MC.
if you can manage to get past the artist body proportions (she's shaped like a Barbie and he's unnaturally large in every sense of the word), it's worth the read. One of those rare sm** where you might have started reading it because of the steamy scenes, but you stayed because the guy is so mysterious, you want to see the MC heal so bad, and you want the ex to fall and see the error of his ways and either redeem himself and grow or maybe get hit by a car. Haven't decided yet.
