So... Harem is not really an appropriate Genre here, as most of the girls are literally his (not legally or officially, but still) adopted daughters. The only exceptions are his straight up only lover
There is an ongoing romantic subplot... and an ongoing running joke about a Harem... now, which one of those should be officially part of the genres?
And from that it should be obvious that this hits way better that the average Isekai Harem, since it shouldn't even be called as such.
The romance is a slow burn for sure, but it is always present in subtle ways, so it just comes as the cherry on top.
The main draw is the amusing and wholesome daily life of a random demon lord of a random dungeon just caring about the random people he happens to pick up and decides to care for.

/wife and the two servants who've had multiple romantic scenes with eachother and a single one with the MC... which likely wasn't even serious.

Pretty good on Gyakusatsu Happy End
I really liked the beginning and yes it was sad how everything that could go wrong did go wrong but it was well written and I kept feeling heartbroken for the characters. Toward the end it became more fast paced (which I guess makes sense) but I kinda felt rushed. Overall it was good.
