Clozabel 7 months ago Kinda bad

The story isn't bad - it's a bit of a cliche but not bad. It's a reluctant mafia/naive partner story. I like the uke and he's characterised well but the seme is too naive for me, he's pretty one-dimensional and the doe-eyed look is a bit much. The chapters suddenly stop and its not an end-of-season stop so who knows what happened there.

It's drawn well but the seme's face is too child-like for me. S** scenes are ok although sometimes the anatomy is off.

Translations are kind of bad. You can get the gist of what's going on but nuances are lost. They also use brother and sister instead of hyung and noona, which doesn't translate the context well.

Overall a 3 star story but the bad translations and the sudden stop of uploads bumps it down to 2 stars.

We just got 20 new chapters but with bad translation, so brace yourself. I've read worse tho! But, it needs to be said.

Said that, the characters are really lovely. I usually don't like the golden-retriever-top and surly-cat-bottom trope, especially the golden retriever part, but here it somehow works, because the top is not imposing or annoying, and the bottom doesn't hate having him around, as I've seen a lot in other stories.

The plot includes some delicate themes so there's angst here and there, but it's not a super heavy reading because it's splashed with kind of humor. It's about mafias so there'll be murderings, but the main characters' relationship is super green for now, and the art is STUNNING, so there go my 5 stars<3
