If you search on youtube 我玩游戏成了绝世强者 you can find an animated (no not donghua) manhua, there are a lot of differences here and there but it's this manhua we read here.

The story itself is more than decent, but there are quite a few issues that hold it back:

- The plot has several inconsistencies. For example, the main character (MC) was supposedly clueless before his regression, but after regressing, he suddenly seems to know a lot about everyone and has access to significant information—more than he realistically should.

- The “game” system in the story feels poorly developed or under-explored. The concept of "ki" seems to only be obtainable by increasing weapon efficiency, but you can’t acquire it until you have a weapon that’s supposedly a perfect match. But then, how exactly is it determined which weapon is best suited for each person?

- Another issue is with character development. The MC, who was bullied, and both he and his sister were killed as level-one characters before the regression. Yet somehow, after only three fights (literally three), he gains enough confidence to rival the arrogant #1 player. This leap in character growth feels implausible and undermines the story’s realism.

There are more issues, but they’d spoil the plot. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend spending time on this one. Some chapters feel like a mess, and many have been translated with limited English proficiency, which further detracts from the experience. If you still wish to read it, find another website (forgot dragonteashiit, they are the worst for this story).

Hi, I'm Ivern, and I'm quite in a pickle, you see? I generally despise actions mangas  obsessed around power levels. Chinese mangas in particular are prone to fall in this infinite cycle where nonsense numbers are spouted and generic hyperspeed clashes are exchanged. And it makes sense: no need to draw a good fighting choreography, no need to write interesting dialogues, or clever tactics. It's cheap, and deathly boring.

This one does follow that kind of general principle, but... What if the fight math was written in such a way that it actually makes sense? What if the physical clashes are, yes, very simple, but came with gripping and genuinely smart strategies? What if this is more similar to a DnD run than a true shonen but we create actual coherent rules for the settings?

At that point, you get IASWPGS (that's a mouthful lol). Which is honestly pretty good. If not good, then it is for sure enjoyable.

Sure, the art is reasonably good at best (and it gets better with time). Sure, the whole combat system becomes an absolute clusterfück if you are not reading a proper translation, and the writing is pretty basic. Sure, I GUESS the characterization is flat. Cry me a river, who cares? It's fu[REDACTED] fun, and the plot keeps keeping you on your toes. That is its strength: the pacing is marvelous and the story doesn't easily fall on tropes and arcs you can surely expect as a given.

I'll be direct: I hate math, and I hate mathction mangas. But among those, I kinda like this one a lot. Let's call it my forbidden pleasure. Recommend, it's a 8+ on the Ivern Scale™️.
