After a freak accident involving some lightning winds up zapping him dead, 15-year-old Mochizuki Touya wakes up to find himself face-to-face with God. "I am afraid to say that I have made a bit of a blunder" laments the old coot. But all is not lost! God says that he can reincarnate Touya into a world of fantasy, and as a bonus, he gets to bring his smartphone along with! So begins Touya's adventure in a new, anachronistic pseudo-medieval world. Friends! Laughs! Tears! Inexplicable Deus ex Machina! He sets off on a journey full of wonder as he absentmindedly travels from place to place, following whatever goal catches his fancy. The curtains lift on an epic tale of swords, sorcery, and smartphone apps!

This is probably my favorite out of most isekais. All of the characters are enjoyable, the MC isn't totally spineless, the plot is unique enough (compared to others in the genre) to be interesting, and the art is clean. Sure, sometimes the cleaning isn't great (white blots over original text, instead of cleaning and redrawing) but I will just chalk that up to the redrawer/cleaner having an off-day. The anime was good, but I still prefer the manga. And this is one of the only, that I don't mind if the upload speed is slower. I'd gladly wait, since it looks like the uploaders don't break the chapters up into 10+ pieces like most jerkish uploaders/scanlation teams.

I love this manga, I've watched the anime (both seasons) multiple times. I hope that this work will keep going I can't wait to see more from Touya.
