The poor guy realized that the moment he tries to grandstand, his System, instead of paving the way and giving him a chance to power up like an OP hero, just tells him a set of answers that can create horrific difficulty-leveled Chain-quests. The only answer that DESTROYS those chain-quests is the "shut up and cultivate hiddenly in plain sight* last answer in the 3-4 answers his System offers.

His System is SOOO passive, that he only gets a +1 point to a random stat if ever he chooses the last answer (that same answer that BLOCKS all terrifying chain-quests) and since he's easy to kill (Cuz the damned system wont cut him some slack), he actually has no choice but to cultivate a few trusted fellow disciple-brothers he has into powerful cultivation geniuses. The funniest thing is, his System is guiding him to be a renowned celebrity amongst the scariest higher-leveled powerful cultivators like the Xuan Ancestors cultivators while our poor MC, Jiang Beiran, is only at the lowest category, level 5 Qi Meditation category. He's trying not to die while being the Cultivation World's hidden Detective Conan at the same time. LOL.

If you're into Action-based Cultivation Manhuas, then this manhua is DEFINITELY not for you, but if you're into smart, cunning, mystery-solving cultivation-deprived MCs like me, then this manhua is truly a MUST-READ!

Okay well if you had to choose between stabbing yourself with a lego (You get $500 after) or with an obsidian knife (You get $501 after)? One gives a higher reward, and therefore you should pick the obsidian knife going by your logic

You wrote all that nonsense, and yet you're the one calling people dumbass? Impressive. The series is literally called "I Determine My Own Destiny", and somehow you still don’t get it?

Using your own example: if you had the choice to get stabbed by either a LEGO or an obsidian knife, and you acknowledge that he has free will and that he’s a coward… then wouldn’t the obvious choice be not getting stabbed at all? I mean, if you're scared and have free will, why the he** would you voluntarily pick between pain and more pain? But hey, keep calling people dumbass while using logic that trips over its own shoelaces.

Worst MC I have seen in a long while. He is idiotic, doesn't think at all, has no courage, always chooses the worst option for himself and is screaming (to himself?) all the time.

I got Bored in chapter 86 or so, MC has a system, which gives him, multiple choices in certain situations, the higher the reward, the more dangerous it will be. But he always chose the low-level choices, which are much safer, kind of funny, since the name of this manhua is "I determine, my own destiny", MC never does, not even once, an act by his own choices, the system, never forces him in anything, MC always follows the options of the system by himself. He's a coward,is not a problem in being cautious, but he always use the coward choices, is like he's not even really liveing, bcuz danger is part of a cultivator life. Thats it, a medium to bad art, a boring plot, with a even boring MC, a bunch of forgetable characters, almost 0 fight scenes. No good waifus or good comedy. A very boring story. 1/5✨
