Stems from inferiority complex he feels towards FL for being too competent. ML coasts and that show bc country goes to sh*t after FL dies in first life
Why folks hate ML and to extent he's abusive:
- R@pes her
- Kills her family
- Demeans her and physically abuses her as well (kills her)
Why ML is not redeemed:
- Inferiority complex doesn't stop, just that convenience of having someone competent trumps his complex and he decides to trap her in next life
- The way he tries to win her over is not by listening to her, but disrespecting her boundaries (not wanting to engage with him), and foisting gestures on her that doesn't necessarily help her out

There are mistakes/misunderstandings folks can make/have, but this is not at all bc of anything FL has done or a reasonable misunderstanding.
The only thing FL did wrong is stay with ML, which makes sense tbh. She was already demeaned and mentally broken from first life, and her self esteem is lower than he** bc of that.
ML is a horrendous person/character/being.
No shade on anyone this is for.
G** knows there are certain morals I suspend (violence, fiefdom, war, little children going to fight in war just because they are born male, undertones of misogyny, etc.). This one is not for me.

This story is very disturbing, this has nothing to do with romance it's just Sa and blackmailing which is not okay...
