I gave it a four star rating only bc of that but it might not be disappointing for y'all otherwise the story was GOD**** GOOD
I recommend slowing down near the end around chapter 60 and up just to take in all the info slowly. trust me it will make the experience much better especially in the last 5 chapters.
do not read spoilers.
me personally, i love spoilers so i clicked on every single one and got everything spoiled for me. dont do what i did it ruined the whole experience.
if i got to reread one manhwa without knowing anything i would read this.
ok now. the plot is well thought out and is just amazing. the time setting is amazing, the art, the characters, how they act just everything.
of course everyone would like to see more of the ending but i feel like that would leave us with a different feeling of the manhwa itself so i like how it ended.
of every manhwa where the mc goes into a story, this was the most best i have ever seen.
i see it as a story that is for those who are really into books and finding all the different endings and views. the ending feels undone but in my opinion if the mc doesn't get to know what happened in there neither do we.
it made me cry a lot. the disturbing topics, the fear that the mc had each character seemed so complex. i never really knew what they were thinking aside from what the author showed. for example
IF YOU DIDNT READ THE GOD**** MANHWA YET DONT READ SPOILER EVEN IF U WANNA B SPOILED
It shows how the mc's veiw of the world changes and it does, alot
The reason this did not get five stars was the ending. Non of the problems that made his life a he** were vever resolved the bad guys got exactly what they wanted and i am sure several people are not content with who the bottom ended up with as well
As well as that at the end it never trully explained what happened and where the mc was and why what he expected was so twisted and the truth of what happened before he came there and why he is responsible for the death of some people and what happend to his parents
Other than those things a solid 4/5
THE TIME SETTING IS ALSO VERY UNIQUE AS IT ACTUALLY DEPICTS THE EARLY 1900s...
AS IT APPROACHES THE END, A POETICALLY BEAUTIFUL METAPHOR SYMBOLISES THEIR ROMANTIC JOURNEY AND DEVELOPMENT UNDER THE GUISE OF FANTASY.
I DARE SAY THAT THEY DID HAVE A WONDERFUL REALTIME DEVELOPMENT ALBEIT IN THE REALMS OF THEIR CONSCIOUSNESS GIVEN THAT THE MC WAS IN COMA, BUT HIS SOUL/MIND/ESSENCE IS AT WORK AT THE SAME😍❤️
I'll be honest, even though there's so much triggering contexts as well as the storyline kind of being confusing with how the novel has been created. I actually really liked it, even though a bunch of the characters are really easy to dislike and so much happens.
It gets easier to understand it overall, the main character's mindset and how refreshing it was to not only see a mature main character but for them to also lose their sanity making me feel that the character has real feelings to go past that point.
However it's sort of the ending and the unnecessary characters, the story took a whole turn from the beginning when I expected something very different but that also is a positive aspect of it. The ending as I mentioned, I'm satisifed that it was all just a dream within his coma but upset with the development of Yujin, and it's incomplete how we don't actually get to see what happens nor the details of after Dongha wakes up from his coma.
I'm not hating on this but The ending was rushed and there's a lot of sexual Assault and r@pe If you don't like reading that stuff do not
